Yum! Thanksgiving is the day to stuff yourself (guilt-free,
ofcourse, c'mon it's only once a year!) with all sorts of
goodies!

If you haven't already, check out our Fall/Thanksgiving
selection of Cookies.

Here is a simple (and affordable!) way to turn your
regular table into a warm and inviting Fall table.

1. Get (If you don't already have) some White or Fall
Colored (Paper or Cloth) Napkins & tablecloth. If you have
a wooden table...great! You don't even need a table cloth.
Wood, especially dark wood, looks beautiful with Fall
decor.

2.Put your Dinner plates, cuttlery and glasses on each
place setting.

3.Place the napkins on top of each dinner plate.

4. If you want to add a decorative touch to your cloth
napkins, check out this website that shows you 12 different
ways to fold napkins. I especially like the "Pocket Fold",
that way you can tuck your wrapped fall cookie into the
pocket. Our Exclusive Personalized Pilgrim turkey cookies
are especially popular!

5. Go outside and find a dozen or more fall leaves. If you
live in S. Florida, like we do, you'd most likely have to
buy a bag at a local craft store. (About $5.00)

6. Walking outside to go "Leaf Hunting" is a great way to
spend some time with the kids (or to keep them busy while
they are not in school!)

7. If you or your kids grabbed some pretty ones from
outside, make sure to clean the dirt off first!

8. Scatter your fall leaves around the center of your
table.

9. Here are some great links with craft ideas to decorate
your house & Kid's table I found on various sites on the
web. Some fun stuff to do with your kids.

10. Buy some tiny pumkpins, gourds, even apples and pears
work great. I find them at my local supermarket, but you
can also go to a pumpkin patch.

11. Buy some candles in different heights and widths in
colors that contrast with your tablebloth. If your cloth is
white, buy some red & orange, if your table cloth colored
or you are using your plain wood table, get white ones. I
buy mine at a local dollar store. Each candle is a dollar,
can't beat that!

12. Place your candles and produce around the center of
your table. (If there are going to be kids at the table,
you can buy glass holders & tealights instead of pillar
candles.

13. You can put our Fall Mini or Teensie Cookies on a
platter surrounded by more fall leaves. You can get 48
Teensie Acorn, Pumpkin or Turkey Cookies for only $36.00.

14. Before your guests come in to eat, light each candle.
They will be sooo impressed! And they will think you spent
hours baking and decorating...

Most importantly, if the turkey is a little too dry or if
the casserole has burned edges, don't worry.

This Holiday is all about giving thanks, not only to food,
but to the people you love and who love you.

Atleast you know that you can count on dessert being
fabulous!

Happy Turkey Day everyone!
